  	Edward L. Kohlbeck, 51, of 815 Marshall St., Manitowoc, died Sunday morning at his trailer residence at Riley’s Point near Sturgeon Bay. Funeral services will be at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday at Jens Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and at 9 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, the Rt. Rev. Msgr. John Landowski officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Mr. Kohlbeck was born April 5, 1910, at Clarks Mills, son of the late Anton and Clara Vogel Kohlbeck, and attended St. Mary Catholic School there. He married Ethel Dickert at Clarks Mills June 19, 1941, and the couple made its home at Valders. Mr. Kohlbeck entered military service in February 1943, and served in the European Theater with the 843rd Quartermaster Gas Supply Co. He was discharged in November, 1945, with the rank of staff sergeant. He was employed on the home farm by O.T. Brennan, a contract trucker, Manitowoc Shipbuilding Inc., and Manitowoc Engineering Corp., returning to work at the latter firm after being discharged from military service. Mr. Kohlbeck was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, the Sea Gull Club and Local 516 of the International Association of Machinists. Survivors include his wife, two sisters, Mrs. Lawrence Grall, of Manitowoc and Mrs. Leonard Alfson, of Clarks Mills and a brother, Robert, of Clarks Mills. A sister and brother preceded him in death. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home where the Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Military graveside services will be by Drews-Bleser Post 88 of the American Legion.
