  	Marie Alfson, 75, of 2005 Division St., Manitowoc, formerly of Cato, Wis., died Saturday, Dec. 28, 1991 at St. Mary's Home. A memorial mass was held at 12 noon at St. Mary's Catholic Church on Monday, Dec. 30. Officiating was Father John Conrad. Entombment followed at Calvary Mausoleum, Manitowoc. She was born January 7, 1916 in Clarks Mills, Wis. She was the daughter of the late Anton and Clara Vogel Kohlbeck. She married Leonard Alfson on July 10, 1935 in Clarks Mills, Wis. The couple owned and operated their own grocery store for many years. She is survived by her husband, Leonard Alfson of Manitowoc; a daughter and son-in-law, Jan and Jay Elliott of Lincolnshire, Ill., a daughter-in-law, Barbara Alfson of Manitowoc; a brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Delores Kohlbeck of Clarks Mills, eight grandchildren, eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Roger Lawrence Alfson. Jens Funeral Home and Crematory, Manitowoc, assisted the family with arrangements. Manitowoc Herald Times - Mon., Dec. 30, 1991 - page B7
