Old Resident Dead Martin Kowash resident of the city for more than a half century died at the family home 1413 Twentieth street Monday afternoon, aged sixty-eight. He had been ill for a long time. The funeral was held yesterday orning with services at St. Luke's Catholic church and burial was at Pioneer Rest Cemetery. Mr. Kowash is survived by his widow and five daughters, Mrs. Heber Clayton, Mrs. Walter Kelliher, Mrs. Peter Strong, and Miss Lizzie of this city and Mrs. Maxwell Brown of Detroit, Mich.
