Edward was a partner with his brother, Ruben, in the Buckendahl Brothers implement business since 1932. Ed died July 26, 1969, at the age of 62. Marjorie died November 3, 1978, at age 65.

Dian Kay Buckendahl was born June 23, 1948. On February 12, 1969, she married Jim L. Froehlich. They were divorced. Dian then married Rodney D. Drews who was born February 21, 1948. To this marriage were born Daren on July 16, 1978 and Rachel on March 24, 1981. Rodney died July 27, 1996, at the age of 48.
