    Miss Zierzow And H. Jonas Are Married

    At St. John's Lutheran Church, Two Creeks, at 2 o'clock this afternoo n, the Rev. Walter Kleinke officiated at the ceremony wherein Miss Ed na C. Zierzow, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Zierzow, Two Rivers rou te 3 became the bride of Harry G. Jonas, Two Rivers, route 1 son of Fred J onas of Hector, Minnesota.
    Mrs. Arthur W. Zierzow Jr. attended the bride as matron of honor and Mi ss Ruth B. Retzlaff was bridesmaid. Arthur Zierzow was best man to Mr. J onas and Robert Rezba was groomsman. The flower girl was Donna Jean Borch ardt.
    The bride wore a white gown of spider lace over taffeta, its long tra in edged in net. The cowl neckline was accented with seed pearl trimming s, and the sleeves were puffed at the shoulders and fitted to points ov er the hands. The fitted bodice was closed with buttons in a line in bac k. The bride's long veil fell from a tiara of seed pearls on a tulle ca p. She carried pink roses and baby's breath.
    Her attendants wore marquisette frocks, Mrs. Zierzow's blue and Miss Ret zlaff's pink. The frocks were topped with ruffled bolero jackets and t he attendants wore circular veils with bands to match their frocks. Th ey carried mixed flowers. The flower girl's frock was of powder blue shee r, its skirt accordian pleated and its short sleeves lined with pink and t ied with tiny bows. She carried a colonial bouquet of mixed flowers.
    The wedding supper will be served at the Zierzow home and a wedding dan ce will be held at the Mishicot Opera House this evening.
    Friday noon Mr. Jonas and his bride will leave for a wedding trip and th ey will be away for a week. After July 1st they will be at home on Two Ri vers route 1 where the groom is engaged in farming.
    The bride is a graduate of Washington high school in Two Rivers and is e mployed at the Schroeder Bros. Co. where she will continue her work aft er she and Mr. Jonas return from their honeymoon.

    Edna C. Jonas

    Edna C. Jonas, age 80, of 1609 N. 21st St. Manitowoc, died Thursday morn ing, January 20, 2000 at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc.
    Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, January 23, 2000 at B ethany Ev. Lutheran Church. Revs. Bruce McKenny and Robert Kujawski wi ll officiate with burial at Forest View Cemetery.
    Edna was born February 27, 1919, in Two Creeks, daughter of the Late Art hur and Edith Geerdts Zierzow. She graduated from Washington High Schoo l, Two Rivers, with the class of 1936, and also attended the Manitowoc Voc ational School. She married Harry Jonas, on June 23, 1938, in Two Creek s. He preceded her in death on May 18, 1962. Edna was the Deputy Regist er of Deeds, for Manitowoc County for many years, retiring in 1982. She w as a member of the Ladies Aid of Bethany Ev. Lutheran Church and the Manit owoc Garden Club.
    Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Jennifer and Thomas Hud on, Manitowoc, Lana and Craig Roever, Sheboygan; four grandchildren, Steph anie and Cristin Hudon, Joshua and Jared Roever, one brother and sister-in -law, Bernice and Ralph Jaehnig, Mesa, Ariz., Mrs. John (Elsie) Mattek, Ne enah; one sister-in-law, Irene Schmitz, Kenosha a dear special friend, Je an Tegen; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.
    The family will greet relatives and friends on Sunday at Bethany Ev. Lut heran Church, from 1 p.m. until the time of service at 3 p.m.
    The Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc is assisting the family with funer al arrangements.

    Mrs. Marie Jonas, sister-in-law to Edna, was omitted from this obituary.
