  Henry and Lena Sporleder Buckendahl's Children and Their Families The Albert and Lizzie Buckendahl Koehn Family Lizzie L. Buckendahl was born November 29, 1890, in Pierce. She was baptized and confirmed at St. John=s Lutheran Church, Pierce. On April 3, 1912, Lizzie married Albert Ernest Koehn who was born January 4, 1891, in Hadar, Nebraska. To this marriage was born Earl. After their marriage, Albert and Lizzie lived on a farm south of Wee Town. Later, they moved to Pierce where Albert was Chief of Police. He also worked several years for Buckendahl Bros. Albert died November 30, 1961, at age 70. Lizzie lived in the Pierce Manor from 1971 until her death March 22, 1979.
