Joannes Radieg Family

Note: One of the Jindra granddaughters married a Radey(Americanized spelling of Radieg)

The earliest RADIEG/RADEJ ancestor I have been able to directly connect is Joannes RADIEG born about 1695 in Hrichovice (later Richowitz), Domazlice, Bohemia. He married Margaretha SKLENARZ and lived to the age of about 63. Passing from this world on 22 June 1758.

From this union I have been able to identify seven children:

• Wenceslaus RADIEG, born 28 September 1728
• Maria RADIEG, born 17 February 1731, died 4 June 1735
• Margaretha RADIEG, born 30 October 1733, died 3 June 1735
• Katerina RADIEG, born 2 Apr 1726, died 21 Mar 1798
• Petr RADIEG, born 29 August 1738, died 5 June 1804
• Joannes RADIEG, born 28 May 1741
• Martin RADIEG, born 12 November 1743, died 26 Jul 1808

My branch of the RADIEG family descended from Petr RADIEG born 1738 and immigrated to Manitowoc County, Wisconsin.

Descendants of Martin RADIEG also immigrated to Manitowoc County, Wisconsin.
