Frank Jindra

Frank Jindra was born 10 Aug 1872 in Town of Kossuth, Manitowoc County, WI, and died 27 May 1964 in Manitowoc, Manitowoc County, Wisconsin. Frank was a farmer all his life and never married.

In April 1962 he appeared in the Manitowoc Herald Times newspaper. Frank is the shorter man standing in the back.

SEVEN NONAGENARIANS In April of 1962, Seven residents of Shady Lane Home, Manitowoc, totaled more than 640 years.

Seated at left is Louis Grolle born April 7, 1870 in Newton. He had five children.

Also seated is Kenley Stone, 93, born Aug. 6, 1869 in Virginia. He had two children and was an elevator operator at the Aluminum Goods for many years.

Standing, from left, are: Martin Einberger, 91. Martin was born April 28, 1871 in the Town of Cato where he farmed for most of his life.

Frank Jindra, who turned 90 on Aug. 10, was born in 1872 at Kossuth. Frank was a farmer all his life.

Mrs. Frieda Westphal, 93, born Jan. 17, 1869 in Hannover, Germany had one daughter. Mrs. Westphal and her husband ran a grocery store for many years.

Mrs. Eva Brocher, turned 90 Aug. 15, 1962. She was born 1872 in Germany. She had six children and kept house until her husband passed away and then she did practical nurse's work.

Mrs. Louisa Rouillier, 91 was born in Gibson, Feb. 11,1871. She had one daughter. She and her husband farmed for many years at Mishicot.
