Wencil Jindra was born 28 September 1874 in Wisconsin, and died two days before his birthday on 26 September 1960. He married Rosa Youra 09 November 1898. She was born in1881 in Manitowoc County, Wisconsin, and died 6 October 1939.

Wenzel Jindra worked his parents farm at first, and later ran a tavern, dance hall and post office just south of Kingsbridge, which included barns for horses in the back. Later he sold out to his brother John and moved a quarter mile north to the east side of the road near Barthels Road. The dance hall burned down before 1930, but the foundation of this building can still be seen today (@1995), in the weeds on the south side of the river. After this, John and his family moved to a farm northeast of Shoto on Crystal Springs Road.
